Scope
"PPT" on this site means a PowerPoint-format deck (.pptx). The index ranks AI tools that create or edit such decks. It ranks price and free-tier terms only. Slide quality, template design, and AI accuracy are not measured.

Formula
Index = 0.30 × d1 + 0.30 × d2 + 0.25 × d3 + 0.15 × d4. The maximum is 1.000. Figures are printed to three decimals.
Ties and unscored entries
Two tools with the same index are ordered by d2, the entry price, because price is the question this site answers. A tool with no captured pricing receives no index and is placed after every scored tool, with its score shown as n/a. A tool is never ranked above a scored tool on the strength of a field that was not captured.
How to recompute a score
Open each vendor's pricing page on the capture date listed in the results. Record the free plan status, the lowest annual USD price per user, the export and watermark wording, and whether monthly and annual prices both appear. Apply the bands above and the formula. Every input in the 2026 results table is the output of that exact procedure.
Coverage gaps
Gamma is listed without a score because its pricing page refused automated capture. Canva, Adobe Express, Prezi, Tome, Microsoft 365 Copilot in PowerPoint, and Google Slides as a standalone product are not listed. Canva and Adobe Express refused capture, Prezi rendered empty, Tome's address returned not found, and the Copilot page was blocked. Adding any of them requires a dated capture that follows this method.
Limits
The index can be wrong on the day a vendor changes its price. Euro and other non-USD prices are not converted. Watermark terms are scored only where the page states them. Read the vendor page before you buy, and treat the index as a shortlist aid.
